I’ve always felt that Indian culture is experienced best through stories, not explanations. But the way it’s usually presented often feels heavy, textbook-like, or distant. I wanted to explore a format where culture could be discovered playfully — something tactile, familiar, and shared.

Mehfil became that idea. A deck of cards that turns Indian culture into something you interact with, shuffle, and revisit. Each suit represents a different cultural layer, allowing the deck to act as both an archive and an experience.
